Legislation is social justice in action. It is the carrying out of League resolutions to influence government policy.

The main purpose of this Standing Committee is: to monitor and study legislation at all levels of government, whether the legislation is in the process of change or our League is requesting change.
The websites of Parliament of Canada, BC Legislature and Yukon Legislature contain the Debates (Hansard), Bills, lists of current members and how to contact them, and other useful information.

The B.C. Legislative Assembly will return on Friday, September 8, at 10 a.m.
The Yukon Legislative Assembly Fall sitting will start on October 3, 2017.
