Re:      Advocating for Our Youth against Human Trafficking

October 18th 2025 09:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Our Lady of Perpetual Help – Kamloops

Our committee is hosting a presentation facilitated by BRAVE, which is an upbeat trafficking prevention program delivered to age-appropriate and culturally-relevant ways for children and youth grades K-12.

K – Grade 3; “My inner voice” INFORMED
Grades 4 – 6; “Safe people, places and choices” SAFE
Grades 7 – 8; “Protecting a Masterpiece”  VALUED
Grades 9 – 10; “Understand and recognize human trafficking” AWARE
Grades 11 – 12;  “Building resilience and protective skills” EMPOWERED

The presentation is intended to education principals, teachers, grandparents, parents, government officials and anyone/organization involved with children.  Not only is this program education for our youth, it reveals many of the hidden points of human trafficking that many had not considered.

Our hope is to get the BRAVE program into all of our schools, and equally as important the Oct 18th presentation be the launch of many more in cities/areas that aren’t able to access this information and are highly susceptible to human trafficking deceptions.
