On St. Valentine’s day the Holy Cross CWL in Creston, BC hosted an “Elbows Up- We Love Canada” Trivia and Potluck lunch for all ladies of the Parish and their friends.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch with a wide variety of dishes and desserts followed by 10 rounds of Trivia where we could discover how much we know about Canada. Our tables were decorated with colorful cut out hearts and maple leaves giving a bright touch to the room. The Trivia questions were on a wide range of topics from famous personalities, to Geography, to the Catholic Church in Canada, to Canadian Music to Canadian history.
Four Teams played against each other and at the end everyone received a large chocolate bar as a prize, with the winning team getting to choose their chocolate bars first – of course! It was a very enjoyable and informative afternoon.
